Project Overview
As a fully automatic subway vehicle that realizes fully automatic coupling and flexible marshalling for the first time in China, Beijing subway line 3 adopts the 4+4 multiple-unit fully automatic driverless technology, with a maximum operating speed of 80 kilometers per hour and a maximum passenger capacity of 3456 people.

Cross-line Vehicle Allocation with Line 12
The vehicles of Line 3 have many highlights. During peak hours, the vehicles operate in a 4+4 marshalling mode to ensure that the carrying capacity meets the passenger flow demand. During off-peak hours, without increasing the departure interval, the 8-car marshalling vehicles can be converted into 4-car marshalling vehicles, realizing the "slimming down" of vehicles, scientifically shortening the waiting time and enhancing the riding experience. On the premise of realizing flexible marshalling of vehicles, Line 3 can achieve cross-line interconnection and interoperability with Line 12. Specifically, during the actual operation process, when the passenger flow on one line increases, vehicles from another line can be dispatched to operate according to the demand, maximizing the optimization of vehicle resource allocation.
Chongqing Yongui was very honored to participate in the delivery and installation of gangway system for Beijing subway line 3. From raw material procurement, production to delivery, the shortest cycle in history was achieved, ensuring the operation of the first train as scheduled.
